EVOLITE is an all-round blade from Unihoc that suits many different types of players!
EVOLITE is a further development of the best-selling blade Unilite, where Unihoc has reinforced the construction slightly to create a more torsionally stiff blade.
They have also made EVOLITE marginally longer and taller than its predecessor, but without compromising the playing feel.
Both blades have the same concavity/cupping of 8 mm, but since EVOLITE is about 2 millimeters higher, the cupping is spread over a slightly larger surface, which can result in it feeling a little flatter than Unilite.
Since EVOLITE is a little larger, and also reinforced in a couple of places, the weight is a little higher than the super light Unilite.
In PP plastic and PP+ plastic, EVOLITE weighs around 69 grams , and in PE plastic around 73 grams .
(In comparison, Unilite weighs just under 65 and 68 grams respectively)
In terms of play, EVOLITE suits an extremely wide range of players. Have you liked Unilite, but wished it was a little bigger and held up a little better at the moment of the shot? Then EVOLITE is right up your alley!
It is not quite as light and agile as Unilite, but is still among the few blades on the market that weigh under 70 grams. EVOLITE's cupping and relatively neutral forehook (between 13-15 mm) make it a blade that works perfectly for the shooter, passer, dribbler or all-round player.
PE
The most classic plastic that is a little lively, and has a harder feel in the ball touch.
